Our Martha's ministry is comprised of volunteer
parishioners who generously prepare and share food at the funeral receptions in the Parish
Center following the funeral mass. The Martha's volunteers donate their time and resources to
create a light meal, which usually consists of meat trays, casseroles, salads, desserts and
beverages, to serve the family and friends attending the funeral. Volunteers are placed on a
rotating team schedule that is variable depending on the tasks. Each team averages 4-5 funerals
a year.
