Parish Charitable Giving

Most Precious Blood Parish designates a portion of its offertory collection to be given to charitable organizations. Organizations must submit a written application annually to request funding. Volunteer opportunities for our parishioners can also grow out of this process.

The Social Outreach Committee evaluates the applications and funds the requests on the basis of merit and funds available. A review is done several times a year to select the organizations to receive donations. Articles are included in the parish bulletins to educate parishioners on these groups and encourage volunteering.

Time Commitment: Four two-hour meetings annually
