Our Sister Parishes

St. Rose of Lima, Denver

St. Rose of Lima is our local sister parish. A vibrant parish community in an underprivileged neighborhood. St. Rose supports both a K-8 school as well as a preschool. Their community works tirelessly with those who are in need in our city. They are led by their pastor, Fr. Jerry Rohr, into many works of service and we are proud to support their efforts through prayer, fellowship and financial assistance.

El Salvador Sister Parish Ministry --San Cristobal Parish

Mission:

To provide awareness and a spiritual connection between the MPB community and our brothers and sisters in faith in our sister parish, San Cristobal, in Jayaque, El Salvador, along with ongoing financial support through a long-term relationship with MPB Parish.

Initiatives:

  • To continue communications with San Cristobal Parish, and sharing their experiences in spirituality and life with our MPB community and beyond.

  • To provide opportunities for service by organizing annual MPB Parish mission trips to visit San Cristobal Parish in the spirit of previous parish mission trips.

  • To provide opportunities for people of both parishes to learn about one another's hopes, dreams, struggles, needs and accomplishments.

  • To facilitate various activities within the MPB community that generate a regular flow of funds to support parish activities in San Cristobal Parish, and that raise funds for mission trips.

Time Commitment: Can vary based on your involvement
