Spiritual Eldering

Spiritual Eldering is a pioneering program developed by the Wisdom Center. Its purpose is to support individuals in their transition into elderhood. Using exercises developed by Rabbi Zalman Schachter-Shalomi (author of "Aging to Saging"), it assists us in harvesting the rich experience of our lives, finding patterns that make each life a unique work of art, healing whatever needs healing, to make us complete and free to serve our world as wise elders.

As Barrry Barkin, an eldering educator, puts it, "Just as there is a preparation for life's earlier stages, there needs to be an initiation into and education for elderhood."

This course is taught by Sister Macrina Scott, OSF.
