The MPB parish community takes seriously its role in supporting parents in their role of raising their children in the Catholic tradition. Therefore, parents need to be registered members of the parish for atleast 12 months prior to the baptism date. Infant baptisms for those 12 month and younger take place during Mass on the second full (Saturday and Sunday) weekend of the month at 4:30 pm on Saturday, and at the 9:00 am and 10:45 am Masses on Sunday.
Parents are required to attend one baptismal preparation class, which takes place quarterly on Sunday's at 12:15 pm in the RCIA room of the church, please see the dates below. Godparents are encouraged to attend.
To reserve a time and date for baptism and/or register for a class, please contact the Parish Office, 303.756.3083.

Traditionally children prepare to receive the sacraments of Reconciliation and First Eucharist in second grade. All students preparing for the sacraments must have been enrolled in a Catholic religious education program or a Catholic school for one year prior to the beginning of the preparation year.
As the primary educators of their children, parents are responsible for preparing their children for these sacraments. They are supported in this important task by the Pastor and the Faith Formation Director.
Throughout the year, parents and students participate in a series of celebrations called 'Rites'. These three obligatory 'Rites' are the Rite of Belonging, the Rite of Sharing God’s Word and the Rite of Sharing a Meal. These underscore the significance of the sacraments in deepening the faith of the children and are celebrated with the entire MPB Sacramental Preparation community.
First Communion celebrations take place at eight weekend Masses during the Easter season. The children celebrate in small Christian community groups of 9 enhancing their sense of community and providing a more intimate experience.
For more information and enrollment, please contact Rita at the Parish Office at (303) 756-3083.
