September 17, 2006 Twenty-fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time

Children's Liturgy of the Word -  In order to begin this program in October, we are looking for men and women who enjoy working with pre-school and kindergarten youngsters. Bible Study -  Reserve your Monday evenings from October 9 through November 13. If you've always wanted to learn how the old and new testaments of the Christian bible came to be, you don't want to miss this series. Kathy McGovern, who taught at the Denver Catholic Biblical School until her recent retirement, will be sharing her wisdom with class participants. The sessions promise to be an experience which will open you to discovering more about the wonders that reading scripture will bring to your life.

Sunday Morning Gathering will begin on Sunday, October 1. Watch for a bulletin insert on September 24 for the listing of topics and speakers from October through December.

Don't miss this first annual event! Plan on bringing the entire family for a great afternoon with our parish community. The fun includes: complimentary barbecue picnic, carnival games, inflatable jumping castle, live entertainment, and bake-off for MPB's best dessert.
