News From the Jungle - March 14

Can you believe that it is almost Easter and Spring Break?!?
* In honor of St. Patrick's Day, Monday will be a Free Dress day! Remember to wear your green!

* Tuesday is Picture Day! Your child should have brought home an order form yesterday. Kiddos may have free dress (again!)--all will have their picture taken. You will get a chance to see the pictures before you decide to buy them. We've been participating in this program for the last few years, and these Spring pictures always turn out great!

* Kiddos should bring their white Lent boxes to school next week. There will be no school mass next week, due to Holy Week services, but Ms. McManamon will let us know what to do with our boxes.
* Next Thursday will be a half day, with noon dismissal. We will then be out of school until
Monday, March 31.
* I measured the kids recently, and you will not believe how much they've grown just since September! In light of this growth spurt, and the nicer weather we've been having, please take a moment to really look at your child's uniform. Make sure all shirts have a collar and are able to be tucked in and shorts, skorts and jumpers are the correct length. We don't get too picky in kindergarten, but those two rules are pretty big ones. Also, please help your child remember, no slip on shoes or sandals allowed.

* Our auction item is almost complete! I am working on getting the kiddos signatures on the matting around the picture. Well have it on display in the classroom all next week---stop by and check it out before the auction! It's an amazing picture--I'm sure it will be a very hot item!

* Speaking of hot items, watch for information to come home about the primary level's auction item---the Not So Sleepy Sleepover! Yes, it's back!
